My friend, there’s more than one way to do it.

Guess The Killer

Secretly each pick a killer card from the grey deck. Each player takes the blood red or prison orange set of cards. Lay in front face up. Take it in turns to ask yes-no questions to slowly remove suspect cards. The first player to guess their opponent’s killer card wins. If you think you know on your turn you can call your case, but if you get it wrong you lose.

Killer Profile
2+ players
Killer Pack needed.
Clue Pack optional.
Deal out all cards evenly to each player face down. Left of dealer turns their top card over & chooses a statistic to challenge all other players. The highest stat wins all the other opponent’s cards and place them to the bottom of their pack. The winner of the hand chooses next. If the chosen card stat is the same they go into the middle and the player picks again from their next card. The winner of this wins both hands. The player with the most cards after 10 minutes or agreed time wins.
Key Clue
2+ players
Killer Pack needed.
Clue Pack optional.
Remove 1 card from the pack & put face down. Issue out 6 cards each. you must collect the cards in sets (3) putting them face down in front of you. Each player takes it in turn to draw from the top of remaining pack. They can keep the card drawn but must discard one in return placing it face up in middle. Next player can either pick up the discarded card or from pack. Each complete set awards 2pts. If you decipher the incomplete set try to keep hold & if the two are your remaining pair you are awarded 10pts. Add up points at end for winner or choose a points target to play longer.
Add up each player’s total points for overall winner. The game can be extended by setting a overall points target of 30 or agreed figure.
Long Clue
2+ players
Clue Pack needed.
Killer Pack optional.
Remove 1 card each of killer, weapon & location & place face down in centre. Issue out all other cards. Take it in turns asking a player if they have 3 cards (a killer, weapon, location). If they have they must show you the card but only one. If they don’t have any they must say no and the next player must show you one. As game continues you can ask for any three cards (3 killers etc) as you narrow down your search. The first player to guess the three cards in the centre wins. When guessing your case you must say it out loud but look at the cards in the centre privately. If you are wrong you continue to play answering opponent’s questions only until a player solves it.
A pen & paper may help. You can make it harder by having to guess the card colour too.

Stat Chaser

Killer or Clue Pack needed.
Drinking Game
Issue one card to each player face down. The dealer blindly calls stat choice (A-F). Each player can then look at their card & relevant stat. The player to the left of dealer goes first. They must decide if their card stat is better than everyone else. They can stick or switch with the player to their left. When switching try not to reveal whether higher or lower than original card. Each player gets the chance to stick or swap. The last player (dealer) can swap for the top card on the deck. Lowest loses and puts their losing card in front of them to keep score. Overall loser is the one with the most losing card score after 10 minutes or agreed time.
On The Chase
1 player + friends
Killer or Clue Pack needed.
Drinking Game
An adaption of the drinking game ‘On the Bus’. Get copious amounts of alcohol. Player takes the seat of their cop car. The player picks a category to play. Before the top card is turned the first choice is the colour of card.
Choice 1 – Prison Orange, Blood Red, or Steel Blade Grey? (you can choose to play with just two colours to make easier).
With the pack face down the top card is drawn. If the colour matches they don’t have to drink and need just two more guesses to end the chase. The next choice is the category chosen. The previous picked card’s category reveals a number, the player must choose whether the next card will be higher or lower.
Choice 2 – Higher of lower on chosen category.
If they get it wrong, they remain on the chase and have to have a drink as a forfeit. If the stat matches they not only carry on but take a group chosen shot. Guess right & they just need one more guess to stop the chase. Third choice is colour again.
Choice 3 – Back to the colour of card. Prison Orange, Blood Red, or Steel Blade Grey or if playing with a Clue Pack can choose between Location, Weapon and Killer.
If they get all three in a row right they end the chase and next player is up. If guess wrong they carry on until they get three guesses correct.
Amount/type of alcohol per card is up to you…but you will be desperate to guess correctly and end the chase.
